The furnace located at our Sealy facility enables Vital Link Inc. to produce Lancaster GTB basalt insulation under close supervision for use in high temperature acoustic applications in support of our core business. The process covers all aspects of Basalt manufacture from the delivery of the volcanic rock through to the packaging of the finished product used in exhaust acoustic systems for engine test facilities provided or refurbished by Vital Link. To insure the product conforms to the required specifications and service life, all aspects of manufacture are quality control monitored by specialist personnel.
Basalt is supplied in bales or as pillow systems with high temperature fabric cases to enable fast and accurate installation.
Vital Link Inc. has been contracted by the U.S. Air Force to act with the U.S. Air Force Warner Robins Air Logistics Center to refurbish in-service T-9 and T-10 Noise Suppressor exhaust systems with our proprietary Exhaust Sound Attenuation Kit (ESAK). The ESAK method incorporates Lancaster GTB basalt insulation and high temperature pillows, providing unprecedented acoustical and thermodynamic performance, backed by the strongest warranty in the industry.
Our ESAK kit is backed by a warranty that is unprecedented in the industry for the arduous conditions they are exposed to during service. A comprehensive three (3) year warranty is provided for all materials, installation labor and workmanship. An extended eight (8) year warranty is provided for all high temperature insulation materials including the basalt matt, acoustic pillows, and acoustic blanket. This warranty gives our USAF customer the confidence that their investment in the exhaust system repair will provide many years of reliable service without further repair cost.
Vital Link, Inc. fabricates a variety of products in support of jet engine test cell and sound suppression systems. Products are provided either as spare parts and assemblies, in support of relocation or refurbishment projects, or as part of turnkey new test cell and sound suppression systems.
Vital Link, Inc. produces close tolerance components required for our equipment and systems. This capability insures that quality and delivery requirements are maintained.
